Governor Parson Visits Glenallen After Deadly Tornado

Missouri’s Governor says it will take weeks, if not months, for the small town of Glenallen to recover following a deadly tornado.

Governor Mike Parson travelled to the Southeast Missouri community on Wednesday to take an ariel tour of the damage.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says nearly a half-dozen people died, and multiple others suffered injuries.

Troopers say 87 structures have been damaged, and 12 of those were destroyed.

The Governor tells townspeople that President Joe Biden called him, offering assistance.
