The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a man who stole a UTV from Pitbull Powersports.

On June 12 around 1:30 a.m., deputies reported a man of average height and build in a white T-shirt was spotted wandering the lot of Pitbull Powersports near Sunshine Street and West Bypass.

One deputy claims the man looked like he was cutting through a section of the lot’s fence, and after cutting, the man got into the UTV and drove it off the lot through the fence.

Deputies say that while the thief is hard to identify, the UTV itself is somewhat unique, making it easier to track down.

According to reports, the stolen vehicle is a full cab model Can-Am Max Defender Lone Star, colored all black with speakers mounted on the roof.

The estimated cost of the vehicle is $35,000.

Anyone with useful information about this case is encouraged to call the Greene County Sheriff’s Office Crime Tip Hotline at (417) 829-6230.
