Habitat for Humanity has broken ground on a new part of its Legacy Trails subdivision.
Executive Director of Springfield Habitat for Humanity Chris Tuckness says the cost of infrastructure development for the property was out of reach, until funding was received from the American Rescue Plan Act.
Once the infrastructure work is complete, Habitat for Humanity will be able to build 13 new houses at the subdivision.
