Humansville City Employee Facing Election Offense Charges

Humansville Utility Clerk Sophia Piper is being accused of preventing some candidates from filing their paperwork to run in the April election.

City Clerk Tiffani Jenkins filed a complaint with the state in in march claiming Piper would make it known she was trying to keep the same people on the Board and that certain seats were already spoken for.

Piper has a court hearing set for August 5th.
