Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 8 PM For Most of the Ozarks Thursday Evening

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch from the northeastern Ozarks down into the south central Missouri.

Thunderstorms will develop along a cold front and move across the Ozarks Thursday, with strong to severe storms possible for much of our area Thursday afternoon through the evening.

The National Weather Service says damaging wind gusts of 60-70 miles per hour will be the main risks.

An isolated tornado risk is possible over south-central Missouri.
