Man Accused Of Stealing From ATMs Pleads Guilty

Two individuals were arrested in the Fall of last year after being caught on camera stealing from an ATM in Springfield.

Matthew Bressman and Brandie Milner used a method called “cash trapping” where the cash dispenser door is glued shut, causing people who tried to get money from the ATM legally assume the machine was broken and leave, leaving the money available for the thieves to steal it.

Matthew Bressman entered a guilty plea, and is sentenced to 6 years in prison.
