Man Charged with Fatal Shooting in Branson

A Taney County man has been charged with in a fatal shooting near Branson Wednesday.

Court documents say Mitchell Hale is accused of shooting a man after an argument at an apartment complex on Cannonball Loop.

Witnesses say they saw the victim follow Hale into his residence, then heard a gunshot. 

Police had been called to the scene earlier in the day because of an altercation between the two men.

Hale is being held without bond.
