Man Confesses To Shooting At Springfield Gas Station

A man who is in jail for burglary admits to shooting another man outside a gas station earlier this month.

Leonard Sherman of Springfield is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after police say he shot a man in the leg as the victim was walking out of a gas station on December 4^th.

Sherman was arrested for burglary on December 12 and confessed to the shooting during a post-Miranda interview.
