A man is dead after a house fire near Eunice in Texas County.
The Raymondville Volunteer Fire Department says they received a report Friday night of an explosion at a house on Pine Flat Lane.
The house was fully engulfed and there was reportedly a man trapped inside.
A woman and her two grandchildren had escaped the fire.
Firefighters had to be cautious as there was ammunition in the house exploding.
Once the fire was out, they recovered the body of James Goodchild.
The Summersville Volunteer Fire Department assisted in the containment of the fire.
