A man from Fordland is dead following a motorcycle crash in Springfield over the weekend.
Investigators say 42-year-old Raymond Lindgren was driving westbound on West Chestnut Expressway at around midnight on the night of Saturday, October 5, when he lost control of the motorcycle.
According to Springfield Police, the motorcycle went off the road on the north side and hit a pole.
Lindgren, as well as a passenger on the bike, were transported to an area hospital. He died at the hospital of his injuries, while the passenger is still receiving care.
