Man from Greenfield Wanted on Child Pornography Charges

A man from Greenfield is now wanted on charges of possession of child pornography.

Investigators say 43-year-old Jeffrey Hare was accused of distributing explicit materials through Kik, an online messaging app.

Authorities were able to locate multiple accounts directly linked to him, which included over 50 images and videos of young children, as young as four.

There were also, allegedly, messages between Hare and other young children in which he attempted to solicit sexually explicit material.

Hare is charged with possession of child pornography, and first-degree promoting of child pornography.

A warrant for his arrest has been issued. There has been no word on a formal arrest at this time.
