Mansfield Police and Greene County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man wanted on multiple charges of sodomy and other sex crimes against children.
Officers say they arrived at a home where Jacob O’Neal was living after a previous arrest. He was wearing an ankle monitor, but cut if off and fled the scene when officers arrived last week. He has been on the run ever since.
Court records show O’Neal has been charged with statutory sodomy, attempted statutory sodomy, and deviant sexual intercourse. All the charges are associated with a child less than 12-years-old.
Authorities describe him as a while male, standing 5’9″, 185 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He has several distinct markings, including injuries to his wrists, and a tattoo on his throat.
