A man from Springfield is being held in the Greene County Jail after he made post on social media where he threatened to kill Republicans and members of law enforcement.
Authorities say Justin White was arrested last Thursday, August 29, and was charged with interstate communications with a threat to kidnap or injure.
A search warrant of White’s residence was executed after investigators discovered videos on the social media platform TikTok where he threatened to kill Republicans, and any members of law enforcement, specifically cops.
That evidence was corroborated by multiple Facebook posts that should similar threats of violence towards law enforcement, including an image of a gun with a magazine and ammunition.
White is being held in the Greene County Jail for the time being, but will soon be taken into the FBI’s custody.
