Man from Stockton Killed after Crashing UTV Head-On into Pickup Truck

A man from Stockton is dead following a crash between a UTV and a truck.

Investigators say 50-year-old Joey Gray was driving the vehicle northbound on County Road 1801 Saturday afternoon as a 2011 GMC Sierra was driving south, crashing head-on into each other.

Authorities transported Gray to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, where he later died of his injuries.

The driver of the truck was not injured. Gray’s UTV was totaled, while the GMC Sierra suffered moderate damage.

It is the 26th traffic fatality of the year for Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
