Man Shot And Killed By Police Officer In Niangua

A man has been shot and killed by a Niangua Police Officer in a home on Myrtle Street.

Law Enforcement responded to the house late on Wednesday night. The mother of the individual who was killed told KY3 she was in the home and heard the disturbance. The mother saw the Officer as well as a Deputy, and heard shots ring out.

The man’s identity has not been revealed at this time and a joint investigative team is looking for more details. Nobody else was injured in the house.
