Missouri Launches Prescription Drug Monitoring Program

The state of Missouri has now implemented a prescription drug monitoring database.

Doctors and pharmacists will be able to track prescriptions through the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.

The program will track prescription drugs that can be addictive or abused.

A provider can be fined $1000 dollars for not submitting a patient’s information to the database.
