Monday’s Severe Weather Recap

Severe weather struck the Ozarks Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Springfield received reports of ping pong ball size hail at Pleasant Hope and golf ball to quarter size hail in Lebanon.

Several reports of trees blown down in Seymour and Niangua.

Seymour also reported shingles blown off a roof and a hotel sign blown down.

A tree was blown down across west Highway 32 at Halfway.

The severe weather continued into the evening hours.

Another storm brought golf ball size hail and brought a tree down across Highway 76 in Douglas County.

There was also a report of tennis ball size hail in Phillipsburg.
