Monday is the last day to take advantage of extended storm debris drop-off hours at the city of Springfield’s Yardwaste Recycling Center and Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill.
Both facilities are open 8am-5pm on Monday, with tree limbs and brush accepted at no cost until further notice.
The city of Springfield says it’s received more than 22,000 cubic yards of brush at the Yardwaste Recycling Center since the storms hit on April 29th.
The city recommends taking organic storm debris to the YRC (3790 South Farm Road 119 in Brookline) and larger or commercial-scale debris to the Noble Hill Sanitary Landfill (3545 West Farm Road 34 in Willard).
