april 1

After a calm day on Tuesday, we’ll have more severe storms to deal with from late Tuesday night through the day on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says very isolated strong to severe storms will be possible west of Interstate 49 to the west of Springfield between 9:00pm Tuesday and 4:00am Wednesday.

Then, a line of storms will bring a greater chance of bad weather between 5 and 7am Wednesday.

As Wednesday goes on, redevelopment of storms will bring potentially significant severe weather to the far eastern Ozarks, including hail up to the size of tennis balls, damaging wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour, and a few tornadoes, potentially strong.
