Authorities in Springfield are now saying the body found near the intersection of Glenstone and Bennett is now being investigated as a homicide.
Springfield Police say the body of 59-year-old Bryan York was found under some bushes in the 1800 block of Bennett Street near the intersection Wednesday morning.
York had injuries consistent with being assaulted.
