A new report from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education says four-day school weeks don’t help or harm students.

About 30% of Missouri school districts use a four-day week.

Officials also say the study found going to school four days a week doesn’t help attract and retain teachers.

The department hired the SAS Institute to conduct the study.
