No-excuse absentee voting gets underway on Tuesday for the April 8th General Municipal Election.

Greene County Clerk Shane Shoeller says all registered voters will be able to vote absentee in person with having to give a reason for doing so.

In-person absentee voting is available at the Greene County Elections Center, 1126 north Boonville Avenue in Springfield Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, up to and including the day prior to the election and also on Saturday, April 5th from 9am-1pm.

In order to vote absentee, voters will need a nonexpired Missouri driver or non-drive license, or a nonexpired military ID, a nonexpired United States passport, or another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri, which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.
