What It Means: Christian Action Ministries has moved its food pantry into the former Save A Lot on Main Street, giving the nonprofit more room to serve the community.
What’s Next: The executive director says the extra space allows the pantry to buy and store more food when prices are lower.
Families can also shop for the food they need instead of receiving a pre-packed box.
The building also includes the organization’s thrift store and more space to help people with other needs.
