NWS Predicts Strong Storms, Possible Tornado Monday Afternoon/Evening

The National Weather Service expects severe storms to hit the Ozarks this afternoon and evening.

Experts say heavy rainfall could begin in southwest Missouri as soon as the middle of the afternoon Monday, with scattered thunderstorms possible throughout the area.

Reports indicate that areas south of Highway 60 are going to see the most severe of these storms.

Strong winds, hail, and even tornadoes are possible with this storm.

NWS also warns that with the heavy rainfall that is predicted, flash flooding could also become a problem throughout the Ozarks.
