Springfield police and Greene County deputies responded to a crash around 4 a.m. this morning near East Saint Louis Street and Dysart Avenue.
Deputies report that a stolen vehicle was seen near Glenstone Avenue and Cinderella Street earlier on, but when officials conducted a traffic stop, the driver sped away.
Deputies chased the car to the end of East Saint Louis Street, where the vehicle crashed into the grass.
Three of the four occupants ran away and have yet to be located, but one has been arrested. No injuries have been reported.
The owners were on the scene a couple of hours after the incident, where they say that the car was stolen from their driveway between 8 p.m. and midnight on Monday.
