One Dead after Three-Car Crash in Pulaski County

Police in St. Robert say one woman is dead following a three-car crash in Pulaski County.

Investigators say a Dodge pickup was driving on Route Z westbound Wednesday when the driver approached a red light.

According to the driver, the vehicle began to malfunction and was unable to stop at the Missouri Avenue intersection.

Officers say 43-year-old Mia Williamson was traveling northbound on Route Z and was hit by the truck trying to cross the same intersection.

After being hit, her car went into the other northbound lane and hit another car.

Authorities say Williamson and two other passengers in the car were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Williamson later died of her injuries. Police are still investigating the report of vehicle malfunction that they believe caused the accident.
