One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash with a motorcycle in Taney County near Protem.
Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol say 62-year-old Steven Scott was riding along Highway 125 westbound Sunday afternoon when he lost control on a curve, ran off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
Scott, a native of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, was pronounced dead at the scene.
MSHP reports this is the 62nd fatality for their area in 2024.
