The owner of Springfield-area business Affordable Towing is back in custody after allegedly violating the terms of his release.

Investigators say Dennis Cleveland broke the terms and was arrested on July 5th. The details of how he committed the violation have not been released.

He pleaded guilty in March on charges of conspiracy to violate the Clean Air Act and tampering with a Clean Air Act device.

Cleveland admitted to disabling emissions control systems in diesel-fueled tow trucks repeatedly since 2011.

He is due in court for a bond revocation hearing on July 20.
