The Ozark City Council has denied permission for a company to build on the Ozark square.
The company intended to build a “modern looking” building on an empty lot where a building collapsed in 2022.
Residents who spoke at Monday night’s council meeting expressed concerns about how the modern building would fit into the historic downtown, and parking issues.
