Pharmacy Employee Shot During Attempted Robbery In Rolla

An employee at a Rolla pharmacy was shot during an attempted robbery Wednesday.

The Rolla Police Department responded to a report that a gunman had shot an employee of Sinks Pharmacy while trying to steal drugs.

The suspect left in a black car with some drugs.

Police stopped the car and arrested 41-year-old Justin Wonsewitz.

He is in the Phelps County Jail pending formal charges.

The pharmacy worker is hospitalized in serious condition.
