Police Looking for Assault and Kidnapping Suspect

Springfield Police say a domestic assault victim who was also kidnapped has been found and is safe, but her husband, who is wanted for questioning, has not been located.

Officers say Ivey Braden, who is 30, was assaulted by Ricky Braden at a home in the 2600 block of West Nichols on Wednesday.

Police say during the assault, Ricky forced Ivey against her will into the trunk of a car.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ricky Braden is asked to call 911 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS.
