Nearly 20 years to the day after Congress passed the Real I-D Act, state-issued driver’s licenses and I-D’s that are not Real I-D compliant are no longer accepted as valid forms of identification at airports in our country,.

However, TSA says if you show up Wednesday to board a flight without a Real I-D, you’ll still be able to fly, but may face additional screening that will take extra time.

Real I-D’s are marked with a star in the upper right hand corner, no matter what state you live in.
