Republic Resolution Sets Plan For New Museum

Republic City Council passed a resolution to allow a downtown plot of land to become the future home of the City’s History Museum.

The city owned a building at Main and Olive in downtown that could not be restored, and had to be torn down.

The Council’s decision gives the same land to the Republic Historical Society in order to expand on their already existing museum.
