The combination of freezing rain, sleet and snow has led to many slick roads in the Ozarks, and a number of schools are having their first snow day of the school year on Monday.
Springfield Public Schools will not be in session Monday, along with a number of other districts.
For Springfield R-12, both seated classes and live, virtual instruction for all students are cancelled. District offices will remain open.
