An Initiative Petition Campaign to raise Missouri’s minimum wage has delivered more than 210,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s Office.
Those signatures are more than double the necessary amount to get on an August or November ballot this year.
If put on the ballot, and approved by voters, the petition would raise the state’s minimum wage to $13.75 beginning next January of 2025, and $15 in January of 2026.
There will also be a “cost of living adjustment” in the years after that.
