Springfield-Area Staple Ebbets Field to Close its Doors

After more than 40 years as one of Springfield’s most popular restaurants, Ebbets Field is announcing they are closing its doors.

In a Facebook post Monday, owners of the business expressed their gratitude for supporting the business over the years, and that the restaurant is closing December 7.

The post also said there will be deal food and drink specials as they try to bring the business to its unfortunate conclusion in the best way possible.

No reason for the closing has been released at this time, and there’s no word on what the future of the house-turned-restaurant will become.
