Woman Charged Following Shooting at Springfield-Area Casey’s

A woman is in custody facing assault charges after she shot another woman in the head at a local Casey’s.

Investigators say Hannah Nordskog was seen on video footage pulling into the parking lot of the convenience store December 28, parking next to the victim.

Shortly after, she initiated an argument with the victim that ultimately ended with the victim being shot in the head.

Officers say after the shooting, Nordskog get into her car and calmly drove away.

She was later arrested once police were able to get the license plate number for her vehicle from the surveillance cameras. A 9mm handgun was discovered in the passenger seat of the car.

According to the victim, she and Nordskog knew each other through her boyfriend. The victim also said she had been following her.
