A homeless camp located in downtown Springfield is causing some concern for a nearby business.

The camp has grown from a single tent to several more in the last three months. Wayne Morelock, owner of Morelock Builders, says his employees are seeing syringes in the parking lot of the business. He also says two people drew guns on each other last week, but no shots were fired. Firefighters were also called to the scene Sunday because of an open fire.

The camp is located on land owned by Lamar advertising. Company officials are working with police to get the camp cleared away.
