Springfield Police have arrested a man for allegedly threatening two people with a gun.
Police say 70-year-old Michael Burnette was arrested for alleged domestic assault and unlawful use of weapon.
The incident occurred August 30th when officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of South Campbell Avenue.
Two people told the police that Burnette had threatened to shoot them.
Officers negotiated with Burnette until he surrendered without incident.
He is in the Greene County Jail.
