There is a strong police presence at several different video game lounges in Springfield.
Officers say the move is part of a “multi-jurisdictional investigation”.
There is a belief it may be associated with the recently passed ban on gaming machines that pay out a monetary prize.
Pushback has been seen since the ordinance was passed, with several gas stations and gaming lounges refusing to comply, as well as Torch Electronics filing a lawsuit against the city of Springfield in late February.
