Springfield School Board Decides Against Affirming the LGBTQ Community

The Springfield School Board has decided not to issue a statement of support for the LGBTQ community.

Several people spoke against issuing a statement of support at Tuesday night’s board meeting.

Board member Steve Makoski and two other board members also spoke in favor of removing “safe space” stickers and pride flags from schools.
