A woman is in the Greene County Jail for kidnapping an elderly woman and two children over the weekend.
Court records say 40-year-old Michelle Porter of Springfield is charged with first-degree kidnapping, two counts of kidnapping a child, and tampering with a motor vehicle.
Springfield Police says a man reported his truck was missing with his wife inside.
At the same time, a woman reported her children had been taken.
The woman was found lying along the street.
She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Porter was found with the children and the missing truck.
She was arrested and the children returned to their mother.
