SPS Board Extends Lathan’s Contract

The Springfield Public Schools Board of Education has extended the contract of the superintendent.

The Board gave a one-year contract extension to Dr. Grenita Lathan.

This is the third contract extension she has received since she has been with Springfield Public Schools.

This extension will last through the 2026-2027 school year.
