Several rounds of storms are expected in the Ozarks early this week, with the first moving through late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, with another line of storms and isolated cells behind it through the day on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says much of southwest Missouri is under a Level 1 “marginal risk” for severe storms on Tuesday, downgraded from a level 2 “slight risk” that was forecast over the weekend.
Forecasters say the greatest threat will be along the Missouri/Arkansas border down into Arkansas.
Large hail and damaging winds will be the main risks with storms that develop, with an isolated tornado threat.
