Strong to Severe Thunderstorms Possible Friday night in southeastern Ozarks, With Snow Potential Sunday into Monday

After another warm day with temperatures up around 70 on Friday, changes are on the way with the weather in the Ozarks .

The National Weather Service says some scattered thunderstorms will be possible over south central Missouri Friday night, with hail to the size of quarters being the main risk with the storms that develop.

After highs topping out in the low 50’s on Saturday and rain moving into southwest Missouri Sunday, we’ll have the potential for snow Sunday night into Monday.

The weather service says there are still several unknowns, including specific timing, the exact track of the system and potential snowfall amounts.
