Student at Kennett Middle School Arrested for Bringing a Gun to School

Police in Kennett had to arrested a 12-year-old boy for bringing handgun to school.

Officers were called to the school at around 9:00 a.m. Monday morning after KMS Principal Nathan Baker was alerted by another student that the child had a gun.

He was apprehended by Baker and resource officers at the school and held until authorities arrived.

The boy was taken to the Bloomfield Detention Center, where he now awaits potential charges.
