One of four suspects in a large drug trafficking conspiracy that was busted in West Plains will serve several years of probation for his role in the crime.

Heather Stouffer was sentenced earlier this week on four counts of delivering a controlled substance. The judge handed down a three-year suspended prison sentence in favor of three years of supervised probation.

Stouffer was inside a hotel room in West Plains in March of this year when West Plains Police executed a search warrant. During the search, officers found 70 capsules containing fentanyl, several used syringes, pill bottles with more fentanyl tablets, and a bag suspected of having meth inside.

The other three suspects, Daniel Alderliesten, Julie Nickels, and Amy Smith are still awaiting sentencing or court dates.
