Swimmer Found Dead at Lake of the Ozarks

A man from Illinois is dead after being found at Lake of the Ozarks.

Highway Patrol Troopers say 30-year-old Kendall Henderson was at the lake Sunday night when he jumped off a dock into the water to swim.

When he went into the water, he did not resurface.

Investigators say they searched the lake for some time Sunday night, but had to suspend the search. He was found when authorities renewed the search Monday morning.

The Chicago native was found near mile marker 20 of the main channel of the lake.
