Police in Springfield have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a shooting on South Campbell Avenue.
Springfield PD at the parking garage around 2 a.m. the morning of August 28th and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in his foot.
After searching through video footage, authorities identified Kerry Brooks as the suspect.
Brooks faces charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
He told police he was only trying to scare the victim, and that he was drunk at the time of the shooting.
