Two Arrested Following Assault of Elderly Couple in Greene County

Authorities in Greene County say two men are in custody after allegedly attacking an elderly couple.

Prosecutors have charged 28-year-old Justin Lentz and 60-year-old William Roy Rush with numerous charges, including assault, kidnapping and robbery.

Greene County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Farm Road 171 near Camorene Street following a home invasion call. When they arrived, they found a couple in their 80s.

The couple told investigators that Lentz and Rush forced their way into the home by assaulting them and spraying them with an unknown chemical before tying them up.

Investigators say several items were stolen, including the couple’s Ford Mustang.

Deputies were able to track the Mustang down and arrest both men.
